1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup yellow cornmeal
⅔ cup white sugar
3 ½ teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
⅓ cup vegetable oil
1 large egg
1. Preheat oven to 400.
2. Combine dry ingredients.
3. Add wet ingredients and whisk until well combined.
4. Pour into buttered cast iron skillet. Bake until browned. 20-25 minutes.
